Dear Niece,

Please consider taking action online to urge National Council
Research Resources Director Barbara Alving to adopt a permanent
moratorium on the breeding of federally-owned chimpanzees for
use in research labs. Chimps are highly intelligent, research on
them does not always translate accurately to humans, and
alternative methods are becoming more and more available.

I hope you will join me in urging Dr. Alving to adopt the ban
for next year and into the future. It only takes a minute. Here
